马利安·高利克(Marián Gálik，1933-)，于1958年毕业于布拉格查理大学，是"布拉格汉学学派"的代表人物之一，也是欧美享有盛誉的比较文学学者。 他一直致力于中西文学的比较研究，特别是在中国现代文学的研究领域里取得了重要的成就。他的世界文学观念贯穿了其全部的研究进程，其中《中国现代文学批评发生史》、《中西文学关系的里程碑》和《中国现代思想史研究》等论著得到了国际汉学界的肯定。靠着坚定的信念和不懈的努力，高利克被斯洛伐克科学院授予2003年最高荣誉奖，成为声望显赫的比较文学大家。2005年他荣获国际学术界誉为人文学术诺贝尔奖的"亚历山大-洪堡奖"("亚历山大·冯·洪堡奖")。

苏珊·巴斯内特（Susan Bassnett）是世界译坛的名人，现任英国华威大学(Warwick University)的副校长，翻译及比较文化研究中心教授。她年轻时曾在欧洲几个国家接受过教育，此教育背景使她掌握了多种语言，深入了解多种文化，这为她后来的翻译及比较文化研究打下了良好的基础。她的学术生涯从意大利开始， 后来到美国工作了一段时间，二十世纪八十年代到英国华威大学任教至今。她的研究范围包括：翻译研究、女性戏剧、女性作品、拉美文学、 游记、英国研究。虽然Susan Bassnett因担任副校长要职而政务缠身，而且经常应邀到世界各地讲学演说，但是她仍坚持给研究生上课，任教的课程包括“翻译研究入门”、 “文化转换问题研究”等。
